The size of the hydroponics and aquaculture components is customized to your specific requirements or your available space.
Production Capacity Fish:
The aquaculture section of the system consists of optimized filter tanks, and as many growout tanks of the right size to meet your preferred system dimension.
Depending on the fish you want to produce, the maximum production capacity varies considerably:
- African Catfish (280 kg/m³ density):
up to 100 to p.a. are possible - Tilapia (100 kg/m³ density):
up to 25 to p.a. are possible
Construction Method:
The filter system and fish tanks are typically built from concrete and recessed into the ground. This is generally the most cost-effective, durable, and flexible construction method. In operation, these robust tanks are very easy to maintain and keep in top condition.
However, we have also successfully realized projects where the tanks could not be recessed—or only partially so—or where materials other than concrete were required.

Material Costs:
The material costs for your custom system can vary significantly. Typically, our customers' investments range from 100,000 Euros for smaller setups to 500,000 Euros for larger installations.
Many customers build the system themselves, so labor costs are not included in their cost estimation.
Climate / Temperature Conditions:
The system can be designed from hot to cold regions. Partly or completely in buildings or everything in a greenhouse.
