Supporting Documents

To support you throughout all phases of your project, we have consolidated our expertise into a comprehensive set of documents, organized to ensure you have the necessary information at your fingertips at all times.

Furthermore, we have placed great emphasis on providing templates and plans that enable optimal communication with authorities, banks, and local companies, helping you to get your project approved, financed, and successfully implemented.

Business Plan

BUSINESS PLAN

The Business Plan for Aquaponics Systems is designed to provide clarity on the economic potential during the project's initial phase. Using the Financial Calculation Tool, you can compare annual yields against investment and operating costs based on your selected system type and fish species. This results in a comprehensive 5-year plan that also accounts for the initial ramp-up phase.

Additionally, a Business Plan Template is included to summarize all relevant aspects of the project, enabling you to create a professional plan for stakeholders such as banks.

Project Concept

PROJECT CONCEPT

The Project Concept is a central component of the first step toward your Aquaponics System. During the feasibility study phase the building authority, the food safety authority, the water authority, and others are brought on board. For this purpose, you need professional documents that describe the system’s functionality, the project scope, and the system’s inputs and outputs.

The Project Concept consists of a well structured Overview Plan and the Project Concept Paper that provides with additional information about the Aquaponics System you plan to build.

Impementation Documentation

IMPLEMENTATION DOCUMENTATION

The Implementation Documentation are highly detailed documents that enable you, as a skilled craftsman, to implement your Aquaponics System either entirely on your own or with the support of local trades and contractors.

In the comprehensive System Design - Building Instruction you will find clear system descriptions and detailed instructions for building each individual component. To ensure the use of correct materials, the Bill of Materials lists all necessary supplies. The Construction Plan provides a clear overview of the fundamental structural work required.

Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions concerning our documents.

The standard documents are made available for download after checkout in the online shop. Most of the documents are provided in PDF format, which you can print as needed. Some documents you will have to edit for your project and therefor are delivered in Microsoft Office formats such as MS Word and MS Excel.

For individual projects, the Project Concept and the Implementation Documentation are created after your order and then sent electronically. For organizational reasons, we do not provide or ship paper documents.

This depends on the type of document.

Regarding the Business Plan, the Financial Calculation Tool allows you to define the system type, fish species, and the size of the hydroculture unit. Key parameters, such as the duration of the planting period, local costs for energy and consumables, and expected investment costs, can be entered. The Business Plan Template is provided as an open MS Word document to serve as a guide, allowing for high flexibility in its design.

For the PDF documents within the Project Concept, you can enter your own name and address to personalize the document for your specific project.

The documents of the Implementation Documentation cannot be personalized.

The purchase of our documents entitles you to use them for one (1) aquaponics system only. It is not permitted to share, resell, or use the documents for the planing, construction or implementation of additional systems. All documents are marked and can be traced back to the purchaser. Any violation may result in civil legal consequences.
